A Specially Sourced American Bison Leather, for Classic Shoe!
The Old Oak American Bison is a beautiful natural leather with an elegant and unique style perfect for footwear. American Bison hides are known for their heavier weight and it’s natural grain patterns.
The unique pebble effect varies throughout the leather making each piece unique and one of a kind. American Bison are tanned with enough waxed and oil to create a rich old oak color and a pull up effect.
America Bison distinct look, unique body makes the hide a excellent choice for Goodyear welt shoes/boots.
You choose your Goodyear Welted shoes/boots, to be used for this leather, no limit to what you can get made specifically for you. This simply means you can resole your favorite shoes and enjoy your investment for years to come; with proper care they will last you a lifetime.
It is made on the Savile last, our most aesthetically pleasing last with a soft chisel toe.

For those that have worn a Cru Nonpareil shoes would say it runs 'true to size' of course it depends on the last. Our shoes have a generous instep, but forefoot width varies depending on the last. Cru Nonpareil shoes has a very standard fit when compared to most other shoe dress brands. Our sizes are all based on the US standard, which is a 'D' a 'medium' width being the equivalent of UK 'E' width. If you have been wearing size US 9 in another brand then you should expect a US size 9 to fit in a Cru Nonpareil shoes. If your UK size is 8E then you should expect a US 9 to fit in a Cru Nonpareil Shoes.
